I enjoy seeing this family grow each year and am proud to say that they are also my friends. We met through Delaware Pet Rescue, and this family somehow finds the time to help so many animals find homes. A typical day in their household includes not only these two girls and their own fur babies, but often a mix of bunnies, puppies and kitties. They have an entire room upstairs as a dedicated foster room, as well as space downstairs. They have the biggest heart and I am so happy that they always bid and win my donated portrait session at the Delaware Pet Rescue Puptoberfest auction.Read More
You aren’t seeing double. Meet Marianne, Denise’s identical twin sister. And yes she recently had a newborn of her own with husband Nick. This is something that I am sure the girls are just thrilled about. When you are growing up with your sibling, I am sure you imagine having kids around the same age, learning and growing up together. But who could have imaged having kids within just two weeks of each other.
What family session isn’t complete without a cute spunky pup stealing the spotlight? I have experienced a lot of those lately, and I have to say I kind of love it. Well, welcome to the world sweet Aubrey.
Well the three of us had a fantastic time strolling the grounds of the Morris Arboretum, a place all of us had apparently been looking forward to seeing for quite some time. Susan and Wes dressed up for the occasion and boy did they pick the right colors for this mostly green landscape. And goodness, they are rockstars to say the least. Not pictured are the hundreds of bugs that were eating all of us at any given moment, but you couldn’t tell right? That’s because they are pros despite never having done this before. Go ahead, check these lovebirds out.Read More
Jess and Austin have a deep love of architecture and design, which shows in the selection of their gorgeous venue, Knowlton Mansion. I wasn’t complaining either. The beauty of this place is simply incredible and it was so easy to be inspired by the location.Read More
I personally find engagement sessions really helpful, but mostly to help prepare the photographer AND the couple for their wedding day. I learned a lot about this couple in the few hours I had with them and I am sure they learned a lot about me too. Not to mention, they are now pros at being in front of the camera and they got to see which poses they liked!Read More
An in home engagement session with dogs and dog socks? Pinch me- I'm dreaming. Goose and Nola welcomed me at the door and were camera ready for their close ups. After a nice in home session, we headed to Evil Genius Brewing Company in Fishtown for the only other thing that would make this session perfect: beer.Read More
