Stef and Russ are engaged!

Oh my goodness, I loved this session for so many reasons. Other than Stef and Russ being incredibly sweet, we had a featured guest, Provie the rescue pup! The beach is extremely important to Provie’s adoptive mom and dad, so of course we just had to go to the beach. After seeing Provie’s reaction, it’s safe to say he is a beach dog and totally with the right family. Accompanying us was Russ’ family, who helped take care of Provie for those photos that we wanted of just Stef and Russ. It’s safe to say these two are incredibly photogenic and so in love. Check back next year to see their beach wedding!

Susan and Wes: A Floral, Romantic Engagement Session at the Morris Arboretum

Well the three of us had a fantastic time strolling the grounds of the Morris Arboretum, a place all of us had apparently been looking forward to seeing for quite some time. Susan and Wes dressed up for the occasion and boy did they pick the right colors for this mostly green landscape. And goodness, they are rockstars to say the least. Not pictured are the hundreds of bugs that were eating all of us at any given moment, but you couldn’t tell right? That’s because they are pros despite never having done this before. Go ahead, check these lovebirds out.

I learned a lot about this couple in the few hours I had with them and I am sure they learned a lot about me too. Not to mention, they are now pros at being in front of the camera and they got to see which poses they liked!

Shea and Danielle

An in home engagement session with dogs and dog socks? Pinch me- I'm dreaming. Goose and Nola welcomed me at the door and were camera ready for their close ups. After a nice in home session, we headed to Evil Genius Brewing Company in Fishtown for the only other thing that would make this session perfect: beer.

Kelly + Ian engagement

Kelly is my dear friend from Penn State and I was thrilled to hear that she was engaged. First off, I want to explain my relationship with Kelly. Kelly and I met in RAM, a hip hop dance group at Penn State and somehow found out that we were both economics majors and were even in some of the same classes. We spent a lot of time together both in and outside of the classroom. I am so happy that Kelly is moving back to the U.S so that I can go on more adventures with her!
