I’ve walked by this glorious vessel dozens of times and had not set foot on it until Krisha’s first birthday celebration. I’m not going to lie, Krisha was highly skeptical of the person behind the massive camera. For all she knew, I was some sort of robot. It’s a good thing I had some more than willing guests to help stand behind the camera to make her a little more trusting. She definitely warmed up to me and even gave the camera a few smiles.Read More
Just look at those CHEEKS. Never have I wanted to pinch such cute little cheeks before. Miri has this incredible gaze that feels as if she is looking into your soul. Her smile is contagious — I double dog dare you to not smile when this little girl is laughing or smiling. Miri is quite advanced for her young age. She has already made friends with the cat, which anyone knows is no simple task. I can tell she is going to be an adventurer, a thrill-seeker, as is evidence by the barrels of laughter she lets out when her dad holds her upside down or throws her high up in the air.Read More
It’s pretty safe to say that everyone is excited for the arrival of baby Nagel, who is planned to make his/her appearance in June. And yes, the gender is a surprise. There are guesses as to if this will be a little girl or boy, but only baby Nagel will be able to tell us that. No matter what gender, this baby is going to be surrounded by a whole lot of love.Read More
I enjoy seeing this family grow each year and am proud to say that they are also my friends. We met through Delaware Pet Rescue, and this family somehow finds the time to help so many animals find homes. A typical day in their household includes not only these two girls and their own fur babies, but often a mix of bunnies, puppies and kitties. They have an entire room upstairs as a dedicated foster room, as well as space downstairs. They have the biggest heart and I am so happy that they always bid and win my donated portrait session at the Delaware Pet Rescue Puptoberfest auction.Read More
I was approached by a caring woman who wanted a pet session for her sister. Her rescue dog, Charlie, was diagnosed with cancer about a year after they adopted him. This young pup lived the good life with his mom and dad, going through the drive throughs at Starbucks for his puppuccino, taking long walks at the nearby park and of course helping his mom on days she had to work from home. Sometimes there is nothing you can do to take someone’s pain away, but you can give the gift of memories, memories that you can frame and revisit often. Sweet Charlie passed away a short time after this session, and his parents were grateful that we took these photos when he was feeling well and was happy. Charlie was a gentle soul, who was clearly loved by anyone he met. Thank you for spending some of your time with me Charlie.Read More
You aren’t seeing double. Meet Marianne, Denise’s identical twin sister. And yes she recently had a newborn of her own with husband Nick. This is something that I am sure the girls are just thrilled about. When you are growing up with your sibling, I am sure you imagine having kids around the same age, learning and growing up together. But who could have imaged having kids within just two weeks of each other.
What family session isn’t complete without a cute spunky pup stealing the spotlight? I have experienced a lot of those lately, and I have to say I kind of love it. Well, welcome to the world sweet Aubrey.
